Before setting the voltage, it is very important to check to see that the filament knob in the subpanel of the control panel is set to its lowest setting (seven o'clock position). If it is not, set it to the seven o'clock position (shown above). DO NOT ADJUST ANY OTHER SETTINGS IN THE SUBPANEL.
